Matthew B. "Matt" Roberts, Partner/Broker

Mr. Roberts is the sponsoring broker of Roberts Realty.  As a top area leasing agent, Mr. Roberts has experienced continued success in increasing occupancy and retaining present tenants in various office, retail, and industrial properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  His ability to assist owners with troubled properties and to work with general contractors on new developments has developed into a loyal following among local commercial investors.  In 2010, Mr. Roberts founded Cedar Springs Development, focusing on commercial and residential development and investments in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas.

Prior to founding Roberts Realty, Mr. Roberts was a vice president of commercial brokerage with Paramount Investments which was the asset manager for various office, retail, and industrial properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.  From day one, Mr. Roberts received impressive reviews from investors and tenants alike and became one of the top leasing agents in the mid cities.  He formed Roberts Realty to continue his record of success and focuses very strongly on retail and office/warehouse leasing projects.

Mr. Roberts is currently pursuing his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation which is only obtained by approximately three percent of commercial real estate executives.  He has attended numerous advanced commercial real estate courses and was featured in REDNews, Texas's leading commercial real estate magazine, in the March 2009 edition detailing the Dallas/Fort Worth retail leasing market.

Mr. Roberts graduated with a BBA in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and received an MBA with a concentration in management entrepreneurial studies from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.  He was one of Texas Tech's Rawls Scholars and received several significant scholarship awards based on academic achievement.

When not closing deals, Mr. Roberts is a tireless community volunteer.  He is very active in the Notre Dame Alumni Association, serves vice president of the Nolan Catholic High School alumni board in Fort Worth, and is a long term member of  Young Men for Arlington who serves on the organization's board of directors.  He is vice president of the Antioch Foundation, a Colorado established 501 (c)(3) that supports a variety of worthy causes worldwide and focuses on neglected areas of the world.  He is also an avid sports fan, especially of Notre Dame football.
